I was also wondering if phone interviews have started? I haven't gotten one yet, and I feel that I'm a strong candidate. It's mid-April, so it's about the time they said they'd start, but looking on other forums, they sometimes take a while.

Hi everyone. I also applied for the summer/fall residency and no I have not had an interview yet phone or otherwise. I have been posting in another thread that had the spring residency candidates in it, and they didn't seem to get interviews until January and February for a residency that began mostly in mid-late March. I know we all got (or should of gotten) an email from Darrell that said interviews would be starting soon, but I almost feel like that's a heads up. I honestly don't mind the delay because I've been busy with work and capstone. It would be nice if we could get a set time to interview, though...it makes me anxious that they can just call whenever. Good luck to everyone, we are all in this together!

Just received the automatic email today...

Good Morning,

First, let me thank you for your interest in the UHC AACN New Grad Residency program with Emory Healthcare and your patience during this process. I wanted to give you an update on the new grad screening and interviewing. We are completing our reviews of the returned new grad questionnaire and will start phone screening this week. Be aware that Emory received an overwhelming number of interested candidates, so the screening process will take a few weeks to complete.

I also received this email. It seems that everyone received this email, but I am wondering if everyone will receive a phone interview? Does anyone know?

@Clbelcher, I would imagine they won't be calling everyone. That was the point of the questionnaire; to weed people out.

I called Emory to find out if we will be notified that we did not get the job or wouldn't be proceeding further in the job search even if we do not get a phone interview and she told me we would be notified. Also, she told me they had THOUSANDS of applications! Wow!

I figured that not everyone would get a call. Thanks for the update. Good to know they will let us know either way.
