Just curious as to how you found out about their timeline?

You can either call human resources at emory if you have questions. or if you received an email from Darrell with the questionaire or other information you can reply back to him with any questions or concerns and he is very good at responding back to your questions in a timely manner.
Thanks for the info!

I applied in January and received the questionnaire February 21st. I have turned it in but have not heard anything back yet. If anyone hears anything, please keep us updated! :)

Those that are not from Atlanta, are you taking your NCLEX in GA?
No I'll be taking mine in CA. And then apply for GA license by endorsement if necessary

From personal experience I know that you can apply to the BON wherever you are planning to work, but you can take the NCLEX anywhere because it is a standardized exam. I applied in GA and took my NCLEX in AL.
I live in Illinois but will be taking mine in Georgia, as long as the dates are soon after I graduate.
Has anyone heard anything from Emory since they turned in their questionnaire?

Hello Everyone! I recently just completed the residency program And I highly recommend it! It was a wonderful experience! You are with a nurse for six months, which allows you to grow and really be a successful new grad. Everyone at Emory are super helpful and friendly. They are also very supportive of the fact that you are a brand new baby nurse and don't know everything yet. They never made me feel embarrassed to ask a question. My whole experience was very pleasant.I feel like I am a better, more Confident nurse because of the residency program.

Thanks Beiks23, I have heard nothing but amazing things. It would be a dream to work for Emory. What unit did you end up getting for the residency?

Now that it's April, I hope they start contacting applicants. Has anyone heard anything?
