Hi all! I know the decision for Emory's MN-MSN Summer 2023 is out. Wanted to see who got in or waitlisted and see your stats ? I was waitlisted, but hoping I can get a spot!

What were your pre-req grades?

I applied for the regular MN for Spring 2023, got waitlisted. I had 3 pre-reqs pending and the rest were A, A-, B-, C, took those 4-5 years ago and I was expecting to be rejected outright. I’m retaking those low grades and finishing the pending classes, I was originally going to wait to apply next year after retakes but I tried this year too to try my luck even with low grades.

Hope you get in off the waitlist, good luck!

I got mostly B’s (a range) and two C+’s. I definitely was hoping I got in with my experience, but we’ll see! I really just want to know my chances. I hope you get off the waitlist! It sounds like you’re trying to be a good applicant. :)

I hope we still have a chance! What program did you apply for?

Mn to MSN women’s health. What about you?

Same one. It’s a great program

Accepted for WHGRNP. I didn't do so hot during my first couple years of college, but I had an upward grade trend. I retook anatomy and Chemistry - prereq grades were A's and B's. I believe my personal statement significantly helped my application, since I made sure it was clear why Emory and why the specialty. Best of luck to everyone!

Congrats!

Congrats guys!

Nothing else has been spoken to me as of yet.

Hi all! I recently just found this program. I originally wanted to pursue nursing after I graduated from UGA in 2019 but unfortunately life took over. I find myself in the position to be able to purse it now and this program sounds perfect for me. Any advice? Stats? I’d love to absorb any knowledge from this this thread.

If you have some prerequisites done I would go ahead and apply regardless of stats. I was waitlisted with a pretty low cumulative GPA due to struggling with my freshman/sophomore years (<3.0 cumulative after graduating) and my prereq grades for science classes that I took years ago weren’t all that great. I’m retaking the science prereqs now to reapply but honestly I expected to be rejected outright, so that tells me they look at other parts of your application too (aside from transcripts, I submitted the personal statement, resume, and a high TEAS score, but no tests are required).
