Hello!
I decided to create this forum for everyone who applied to Emory's MN MSN program for Summer 2022. I applied early decision! Hope to get decisions soon.
I’ve attached the link..

Congratulations! When did you apply? I was under the impression that they sent out all invitations and rejections on the same dates, so this makes me nervous/excited that I could hear back sooner than I thought. Where else did you apply?

That's the crazy thing. I submitted in late October, after the Early Decision deadlines. I also had to challenge them on some of my prereq courses (they said several wouldn't be accepted, and I sent in my syllabi and transcripts, and then they accepted. This all transpired in November). They told me I'd hear back January 14th, so I'm completely shocked.
I received the email today with a link to the notification in my portal:
Congratulations! We are pleased to let you know that you have been selected for admission to the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing’s MN Pathway to MSN program with a specialty of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for 2022. As an admitted student in the Early Decision round, you are now under consideration for our merit-based scholarship opportunities. Students selected for these awards will be notified by email in mid-December 2021. We welcome you into the Emory community!
I applied to UCSF, Columbia, UCLA, Yale, Simmons, UVM, and I also plan to apply to SFSU. I mostly applied FNP (besides UCLA, which isn't an NP Program, and I applied WHNP to Yale).
Hey Guys!
Congratulations to everyone that has received their acceptance!
I had a question; wondering if any of you knew - I know that at one of the information sessions they said that if you choose to leave after the MN portion of the program, you can do so and go practice as an RN. So is there any way, that we can discontinue the program after the MN portion, get a year of experience, and then apply to the MSN program for the acute specialties?
