Hey Everyone! I just submitted my application last month for the BSN program for Fall 2016 :) I see that there are ABSN/MSN threads, but I haven't been able to find anything for the traditional program.
Where's everyone from? What are your stats? I live in Atlanta currently, and Emory is my DREAM school. One of my main concerns is that I won't have all of my prerequisites completed until this Summer, and I'm worried that may look bad on paper for them. So far I've made all A's in my nursing prereq's. I was initially planning on applying for Fall 2017, but since organic chem is no longer a requirement (thank god!!!), I find that I technically can apply for this Fall!
Good luck to everyone applying! I know this thread is a little late, but I figure it could be good for all of us to communicate through here :)
Did anybody on here attend Emory undergrad?
I graduated with a BS from Emory a few years ago and am applying for ABSN fall 2017. An admissions advisor just told me that, because I have a degree from Emory already, as long as I have an overall GPA above 3.0 and science/math GPA above 2.8, I'm automatically admitted to the program.
Does anybody have any experience with this? Seems too good to be true..

Hi! I realize this is an old post, but I wanted to respond anyway! I am applying to Emory ABSN for Fall 2017, and I received my bachelor's degree from Emory a couple years ago. The admissions counselor told me the same thing. It seems too good to be true that we are automatically admitted, but I think that's really how it works. When I applied, they revised my checklist to reflect the Emory direct admission requirements instead of the normal ABSN requirements.

hey! what year did you graduate? when I went to speak to the admissions counselor, she confirmed that as long as we have the GPA, we're in. definitely too good to be true and I know I wont believe it until I see an acceptance letter lol. I just went to look at my checklist and I see that they've changed it to the direct admissions requirements as well (so for example biol141 is included, whereas it wasn't originally). I'm very eager to hear back from them, last year I saw that people were notified early October in some instances. hope to see you next fall!
