It is an emergency drug dosage calculator......one that you can carry in your pocket. You pick the drug to administer, enter the parameters, pt. information, and it does all the calculating for you!! No pens/paper/calculators!! We are buying one to keep on our crash cart at our facility. It was designed by an RN for nurses who work in the ER and Critical care areas, but it also is a wonderful idea for facilities like mine. Get a Palm device and then get infusicalc from http://www.aetherpalm.com. It is the best and you can preset it to your hospitals standard concentrations. Plug in the dose needed, weight (if weight based drug) and boom you have the answer. Takes all of 5-10 seconds!
