anyone heard of eeii or have any experience going to the nursing program. I recently found out about the emergency educational international institute but I dont have much info. are they accredited? will I be hired if I complete a degree from them

You're smart forgetting out early once you get in the program it rips your GPA and no school take you plus you'll have to start in most schools from the beginning so you're making the right choice and looking for a different option whether it's EEI or somewhere else

Once you take your nclex it doesn't matter which school you went to as long as you're able to take your boards which you are with EEI all the hospital will be asking you is for your license so you're good to go !

EEI was currently bought out by a new owner a few years ago it was not accredited now it is it's just on probation this year it will be out of probation and in good standing which means you can take the nclex but they're just being monitored by the state

Last class at eei 19 out of 21 people passed Nother license and able to work at which ever facility

Accredited by ACEN? I looked this school up, and couldn't find any sort of accreditation status pending or otherwise. CCNE only accredits BSN programs.

Sure, you can work as an RN, but your choices of schools later will be very limited as most more reputable schools require that your PRE-LISCENSURE education be accredited by one of those two. Yes, I understand that the school is approved by the board of nursing, that's why you can take the NCLEX and be liscenced as an RN. They also have some other healthcare program accreditation that doesn't really mean anything in the nursing world (I'm sure it does for their other programs).

Mmk. Everyone and their mama wants to be a nurse practitioner, so I tell people this because I don’t want them to go to an unaccredited RN program and then be surprised when most reputable graduate schools want an accredited school. You’ll be an RN, but your grad school choices will be very limited. Have you done any research on this yourself or did you just not agree with me and felt like “be quiet” was a good counterargument?

Emergency Educational Institute was recommended to me from my friend, who was friends with a pediatric nurse who worked within the HCA health system that was an EEI graduate. I previously was about to attend kaiser university. The tuition at the time for kaiser was roughly triple that of EEI, and although I was making over 40K annually at my job, I was able to get subsidized tuition assistance through the local workforce office to attend EEI. All that was required to be eligible for that workforce program was that becoming a registered nurse had to be a step above my current (at the time) career position, which it was. Had I went with kaiser, I would have had to take out state and federal loans, and the amounts would have been significant. Community and state colleges are subsidised, and there tuition can be low, but they can be very competitive to enter and to remain in their program, and can be inflexible.

EEI is now comprised of a staff of professionals that have both education and work experience levels comparable to some of the best schools out there. They attract and employ staff that have strong character having decades long successful careers with professional agencies. In short, they are seasoned professionals, and they are personally committed to your success. I had been out of school for awhile, and although EEI worked with me, their program is quite challenging, as it must be to prepare students not only to effectively challenge state boards, but to instill high levels of competence and professionalism in it's graduates. Several of my former classmates are now attending online for both undergraduate and graduate work. EEI now offers a BSN program as well.

EEI has played an important role in "sharpening my tools" and I am now a Registered Nurse.

Would I recommend this school?

Absolutely I would !

Well, EEI's nursing program was terminated by the state due to failing NCLEX scores. They literally expunged the entire program. A non-accredited institution will not keep the same standards compared to a vetted system.

i know several people that graduated from this program at this school
