So about a month ago now, I emailed a nurse recruiter at a hospital nearby that I would love to work for. He forwarded my email to another recruiter, who emailed me back to say that he had sent my resume on to the hiring manager, and that someone would reach out to me if interested.
Through some ~internet research~ (read: creeping skills ), I found the name and email of the nurse manager on the unit that I believe my resume was forwarded to. Since it's been about a month now and I haven't heard back from anyone at this hospital, should I go ahead and try emailing the nurse manager? Or should I send another email to the recruiter?
I don't want to come off as pushy, or as stalker-ish for finding the NM's name... And I certainly don't want to step on anyone's toes with regard to the hiring process. But I do want to show that I'm committed to doing what I can to get this job. I'm completely sick of being unemployed!!

Hopefully others will write in with their advice but if it were me I would probably go ahead and email the hiring manager. I have seen things fall through the cracks so if I really wanted a position I would take the chance of coming off as pushy rather than assertive. Good luck.
Thanks for your input! I am leaning toward emailing the manager just because I don't know what else I can ask the recruiter to do, if he has in fact already forwarded my resume. I just don't want to offend and/or annoy anyone!
