Email follow-up letter after interview

Hello, everyone,

I was wondering what your thoughts were about sending an email follow-up/thank-you letter for an interview I had today. The managers are going to make their decision early next week, and I'd like to get my letter in before they do. However, I'm not sure how appropriate it is to email the letter.

Will I look like a lazy butt if I email it?

Just went to an employment seminar last month and the consensus is that email is NOT acceptable. They still expect hand written thank you notes. Good luck.
