Eligibility to take Nclex in NY

I had my first two years of nursing in trinity university if asia in the philippines, and completed my bsn degree in perpetual help college of manila. I applied for rn licence in NY state. My CGFNS stated that i meet all programs requirement, but i guess it means that the documents sent to cgfns were authentic. And its now report issued. I called NY state earlier to folloy up for my application, the operator told me that they recieved all my documents from cgfns last March 7. But i am really nervous whether i would be eligible to take nclex or not.

I also applied for NY State under endorsement. Just submitted my requirements to CGFNS (CVS) and NY BON around last month. How many months did it take for them to verify your academic records? Did you contact your school and give them a heads up about CVS or not anymore?

Hi there! The waiting game really depends on how fast the request gets to PRC and the school. It also depends on how efficient your school responds to the request. You can give your school a heads up. As for PRC, all you can do is wait. You also can give them a call in their main office in manila for any inquiries. Normally, the process takes 6 months. If any problems occur it may take up to a year

I am also applying for NY and will submit my application to NYSED and CGFNS hopefully by next week. would like to ask something about the Licensing Authority, what address did you write? Should it be the Manila Main Office? or from where you were registered and took the exam? thank you!
