I am a bit of a history freak and read everything I can get my hands on about 09/11 and would love to hear any stories others are willing to share. Thank you..thank you.... thank you :D for ALL the health care workers that helped others and saved lives on that fateful day that changed America and the world forever.

10 paramedics on site at the makeshift triage area lost their lives when the south tower fell. Paramedics were stuffing as many of the injured into ambulances as they could. After the North tower fell they had to use ferries and boats to transport the injured as Manhattan streets became congested and impassable. The paramedics ran out of narcotics and could only comfort those in agony.

MDs and RNs, paramedics and all first responders and all HCW's showed the world how strong and caring we as Americans were on that day in such a sharp contrast to the evil perpetrated on us.
