I know its super duper early.. I'm still in the process of taking my pre reqs.. I still need biol 1406 & bio 2401 I made a B in engl 1301 & A in psyc 2301.. I plan on taking bio 1406 in fall & bio 2401 in winter semester. Im taking as many supporting classes as I can to rack up on the extra points. I currently attend collin but they have so many more requirements than el centro so in the event i do not get accepted into elcentro the following semester I will apply at collin.. I still need Hesi & all my shots along with cpr.. anyone in the same situation? Or just getting the process started?? I figured I'd start a thread to help us all get over this together.. feel free to comment advice, concerns or questions :)

Im glad I have a good amount of time to study for the hesi! I have the elsevier review book and another one I found on amazon lol I am sooo nervous!

Hi guys! I am thinking about applying to el centro as a second choice, I had been hesitant about applying here because even with all the courses I've taken it didn't seem as though my points were going to be very competitive with what I've seen get in in the past and I've taken the majority of support and bsn courses as well. I need to take the HESI still does el centro still give unlimited opportunities to retake it? I read that somewhere in their admissions information one time and thought that was fantastic since some schools only give you one to two chances to take it in a year.

Hi I'm also applying fall 2017 I started another forum also .. I'll have 26 points before taking my Hesi ... There was no cut off points for spring 17 they basically just accepted those that qualified because a lot of people couldn't apply .

Hello everyone! I plan to apply to El Centro in January. I know last application period was kind of crazy because of not having enough applicants. But my friend got in with 31 points. What are you guys thinking will be the cut off for this group applying in January? I have 18points without the HESI and I'm retaking it in November to score higher. My goal is to apply with 35 points. What do you guys think? Do I have a chance? What is everyone else applying with? Thanks!!

HI ALL! I was accepted in Fall 2016, recently had to drop half way through first semester due to some personal issues. SO I am trying to apply at UTA BSN program and El Centro again(ugh) for back up! I will have to retake my HESI after all bc I scored 78 on ENG. We now need a 80 on each section. SO that sucks! Otherwise, I am good to go! Really hoping I get in at UTA tho.... Feel free to ask me any questions about the program

My goal is 35 points also I have 26 points currently ... So I think that is a good goal .. I take my Hesi exam now 12 and then dec 3rd hopefully after that I can turn my packet in ...

how much money did you spend out of pocket before you got your book refund ?on books background check etc

You can take it as much as you like ... just book atleast a month or two in advance

Well took my Hesi on nov 12 scored 72 on a and p 84 on math 84 on English 84 on reading and 82 on grammar .. so I'm retaking it dec 3 ....I have my packet ready to turn in when I pass it this next time and I still have to get my second hep A shot on dec 28 currently have 26 points before Hesi exams praying to get atleast 35... say a prayer for me guys thanks !!!!
