El centro nursing program fall 2012??

Hi is anyone out there applying to the el centro nursing program for fall 2012? Would you share points and which campus you're choosing ? :)

I totally understand ... I'm stressing out but doing my best to "try" not to think about it.....beer is helping :-)

Hello everyone! I just got back from vacation....this whole thing was on my mind the entire time....I had fun but I hope that we get the letters before Thursday.... I will be out of town again.... STILL NERVOUS!

Hey guys,

I too applied to the program with 16 points, possible 2 more if they accept my work experience as a vet assistant.

They should give students the options to pick up their letters on campus first thing Monday morning!

That won't happen! Not trying to be a Debbie downer, BUT, they have never sent acceptance letters out on time. They usually are sent a couple of weeks after the due date. If you don't receive them by Wednesday, you know it will be a couple of weeks. Best of luck to all of you!

A friend of mine called and was informed that letters have been mailed out. Not sure if they were mailed out Saturday, or today.

That's AWESOME! It must be because they have a new person in the admissions office. When I was waiting for my letter, it was sent out a few weeks late. Again, best of luck to all of you!!

I remember going through this last session. I would suggest you guys buy some NCLEX books and start doing the questions. It will give you an idea of how your class exams are like. It's not like taking A and P or Micro exams. Those are easy tests compared to nursing exams....One of the girls made a 60 on her exam today and she cried in front of the teacher. Sad to see that.

Also, get a hold of a Fundamentals book and start reading. Your new life is spent reading (almost all the time). 12 or more chapters per test at least. Not to mention online materials. If you are not discipline, you might consider another career path. We are down to

I wish there was a clue for those that were accepted like a change in status on econnect or an email with instructions. This is torture.

I just called the admissions office and they said they were mailed out today and that they should be received no later than Thursday. I hope they come in before Thursday, becuase I will be out of town..... THE ANTICIPATION!!!!!!!:idea:

a friend of mine just got her letter (LVN to RN program applicant) and she got in!!!! Congratulations to her!!!
