El centro nursing program fall 2012??

Hi is anyone out there applying to the el centro nursing program for fall 2012? Would you share points and which campus you're choosing ? :)

Hello I am going to apply for the Fall 2012. I still need to take the HESI test though. I went to an information session and i was told that they accepted a lot of students with 13 points. If i do good on the test i should have around 15 points. If i get accepted i want to go to El Centro just because i know my way around and is closer to were i live.

they really accepted 13 pts? i thought that was too low??

It all depends on the number of candidates that apply.

I just posted this somewhere else also. How does everyone else sit with their points?

I'm apply for the fall at El Centro. North Lake will be my 2nd choice.

If I've added everything up right it looks like I have:

GPA - 5 pts

Support Courses - 4 pts

HESI - 6 pts - Retaking this soon to see if I can get higher

Current Health Care Related Experience - I SHOULD get 2 pts

So with these numbers it looks like I have 17 points if they include my healthcare experience. I want to make sure I take the HESI one more time before I send in my application. I was not in the best of situations last time I had taken, so I'm hoping to max out my scores better this time!

Megan - that is a STRONG application....you should feel very good about your application

Thank you! I'm just worried about having enough points. Hopefully I can get some higher scores when I retake the HESI. I'm thinking I will get the extra 2 healthcare experience points, but if not I want to make sure to max out the points as best as I can.

I understand - I am basically on the same boat as you are, just trying to max out the points as best as I can.

I have 15 points and I am applying to El Centro and Northlake.
