NO Yang, I won't know until the 10th.

I have just decided to be HAPPY and excited about the year no matter what happens.

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING.

I had jutte and we finished our clinicals 3 weeks before the semester was over. We had orientation at the hospital the first week of school along with the peds seminar---that first week was a hectic week.

Just a few more days of relaxation---everyone enjoy!

Specializes in Operating Room.

Attitude is everything, and right now, I have a BAD attitude about them not letting you know yet!

I hope you do get back in!!!!!!

Hi, I got accepted in the late applications and start Monday. We got a quickie orientation so my brain is overloaded. I need to quickly prepare mentally and I'm just nervous because this is all so quick. Thanks,N.J.

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

So, for the last several months or so, I've been experiencing significant abdominal pain pretty much every time I try to eat anything. Over the Christmas holiday, I went to the doctor to have some testing done and I finally got the results.

I'm allergic to Blueberries, Lemons, Corn, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Cashews, Dairy products (including cow's milk, yogurt, cheddar cheese, cottage cheese and swiss cheese), Eggs (Whites and yolks), Brewer's yeast, Black pepper, Gluten, Safflower, Soybeans, and Wheat.

I'm sensitive to Asparagus, Lima beans, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Eggplant, Ginger, Grapes, Lamb, Malt, Oat, Peas, Peanuts, Chili Pepper, Potatoes, Rye, and Sesame.

Right now, I feel pretty overwhelmed. I know it isn't the end of the world, but so many of my favorite things to eat are on that list! I'm trying to look at this as the chance to have new culinary adventures ... but it doesn't always work. However, I am looking forward to feeling better after I manage to make all these diet modifications!

oh Jaxia---I am sorry to hear that you have so many allergies. I would love to be allergic to some foods, then maybe my ass wouldn't be so big! OK

I'm sure you are relieved that they were able to find the source of your ABD pain-I know you will stay positive and make the most of it.

will a few spoonfuls of things cause you pain or will you still be able to enjoy a couple of bites??

Specializes in Operating Room.

Jaxia, so sorry. :( I'm scared to go get tested for allergies as well. (Scared of having a huge list like that!)

:chuckle Spill....too funny. I know my rear end has grown 10 X as big since I started back to school! :(

Specializes in ER.

Jaxia -

How are we even gonna eat lunch now? lol ... hang in there...you can get through it and feel so much better! We just have to find new places/things to eat...

It was cool seeing you there - the boards are very quiet....I've been studying all day (since I got home from orientation). Jaxia runs VERY late to any lecture lol. There aer some irritating people in 3rd semester that I need to get the dish about from you...I won't be there this Wednesday as I have an echocardiogram stress test (didn't even know that was possible lol). Good luck studying....

Who was at UTSW yesterday. I was working and saw a group in the ECC/NL uniforms. Is that 3rd semester? It was an oncology floor.

Specializes in ER.

That was Ms. Paul's 3rd semester NLC class - we're there Monday/Tuesday 2-10p....I was the one leaning against the nurse's station - blond hair in uniform...
