Oh....in that case.....you both will love your instructors. :)

Orientation is tomorrow for me. Any last minute tips, ideas, suggestions? I think I have enough PM material from you all to help. Now I just have to get a good lottery position. I usually have no luck at drawings but I did win the 500 dollar bingo jackpot when I was 12! Bummer is, 3 other people hit at the same time so 500 split 4 ways was 125.. Still not bad for a 1 dollar bingo card!! Thanks for letting us "freshman" sit in your forum! Ya'll are great!

P.S. Spill, are you getting any sleep? :)

Write down your questions, and get them answered. ha If not answered there, we will try to answer them, or tell you who can. Most importantly, join the SNA! :balloons:

I'm not sure if I can make it...my daughter has a Dr. appt. tomorrow. When does it actually start?

If time allows, I may drop by to see if it's still going on...or I may drop in during y'all's uniform session.

Hey, getting to yell bingo at all is more than most. :lol2:

And it looks like 29/50 are returning....so 21 lost last semester....pretty sad!

Yang

Goodnight! What the heck?! Yang, why do you think that is? I'm the only one in my HPRS this summer that's actually in the program. I've spoken to more than a few people who say they'll be working full-time while they do this.. If they get in that is. Do you have any idea why the drop rate was so high?

Oldie

Hey Fun, I've got a question for you. I still need Micro and was going to take it this fall during my first semester. It appears you have just finished your second semester so let me ask you. Would it be best, in your opinion, to take during first or second semester? Thanks!!

Specializes in Operating Room.

I would have died if I had to take it during second semester, to but it bluntly...I would have gone nuts!

1st semester was definitely easier for me, in terms of overall material, pace of learning the material, etc. We just had SOOOOOOO much going on during second semester, but I'm hoping not having the pharm test will help everyone out. It's going to be integrated in the regular tests, so I hope 2nd semester will be easier for upcoming semesters.

People did take MicroSUX! during first, and they made it through...So, determination, and hard work can get you through it as well.

Overall, I recommend summer, but if that's not a choice, then 1st semester would probably be better.

Fun, you're hilarious. Summer was a choice but then I chose not to and dropped cause I'm taking HPRS and still working 50+ hours a week with travel. I'm quitting my job for school so I'll have time for "MicroSUX!"
