congratulations! to everyone that is starting in january!
i'm so excited to meet everyone-please introduce yourself!
:groupwelcome:
Yeah...we have to bring soap, lotion, washcloth, towel, and either a bathing suit or shorts and sports bra. And the water there doesn't get hot, so it will be a cold bath! I'm gonna look mighty weird toting all that on the light rail, but so be it. I'm waxed and good to go! LOL.
This is hilarious. :rotfl:
Should I say good luck or have fun in skills lab?

Hey Spill,
I really just went through the questions on medspub and made sure to read the rationales for the ones I got wrong so that I would understand why there were the way they were. Medspub really helped me because it set up the questions like they were on the test. One thing I realized is that studying like I did for A&P (with flash cards) sure isn't going to work for these tests!
When is your phy assessment checkoff? Ours is tomorrow.

That's for sure!!! Actually, the only notecards that are really good to still make and study from are the values.
(Potassium, calcium, chloride, sodium, Magnesium, pH.....stuff like that.)
I read all the chapters, did the sections on Medspub. If I got it wrong, I read the wrong rationale to see why it was wrong (what was wrong with my thinking), and then the right rationale to learn how I should be thinking. I did Prenhall, I did the Fundamentals Success book questions, and I did some Kaplan NCLEX questions. I really kept up with it though and did it in little bits over the last 3 weeks so it wasn't so intense right before the test. I studied for a few hours on the day before, but stopped by 7:30 pm. It seemed to work pretty good for me. Wish me luck on Physical Assessment tomorrow!
