El Centro/NLC ADN Spring 2020

Published

Hi everyone!I

I wanted to make a group for all the people applying for the Spring 2020 program. Has anyone taken the HESI yet? If so, are there better tools than the book?

Does anyone know if they will accept my flu shot? I got it done on August 9th at my pharmacy and it was rejected on Castle Branch because I received it before the 26th. I was hoping the staffs at El Centro can waive it. Does anyone have a contact number or an email for Castle Branch El Centro College representative?

Im guessing you’re talking about this years new influenza shot? It was only to be given after the 26th. Not sure if it’s safe to get another vaccine. My advice would to be call Castle branch customer service and talk to them. Also email the dean or Jesse brown at el centro to make sure you’re ok. Castle branch number is (888)-723-4263

Unfortunately Castle Branch and El Centro are two independent entities and there is no one at Castle Branch who is a liaison between the two. You will need to email the Dean and ask her if it's acceptable. Whoever else you email will have to ask the dean anyway.

Awwww thank you!! ?

good luck!! About 3 weeks till all of us find out!

I’m confused. I know we needed a flu shot on our list of immunizations. Are you saying we have till October 15 to get a flu for the upcoming year? I don’t remember reading anything about this!

Yes that’s right! You must get your flu shot after August 26th and turned in by October 15th into castle branch for the 2019-2020 flu season

So thankful someone posted about this. How did folks even know?

It's in the info packet somewhere, and it is also on Castle Branch that it is due by October 15th. This also happens to be the day they send out letters, so I would make sure you have your shot in there and approved by the 15th!

I’m so glad people are saying this. My flu shot got rejected because I did not include the (VIS) date so I had to resubmit it. It’s not on the paper they have you take up there so I was kind of annoyed by that. I had to add it on there myself. But I am all compliant now. Hope this helps anyone not to make the same mistake.

Hey friends, do y'all know if we should be expecting an email or an actual mailed letter out on October 15th? I know they've done both in the past so I'm not really sure.
