Hi everyone!I
I wanted to make a group for all the people applying for the Spring 2020 program. Has anyone taken the HESI yet? If so, are there better tools than the book?

Yet, my cumulative on the HESI was a 91, I have a 3.75, a support course plus Pharmacology and 7 courses towards the BSN-and I come up with about 28 points.
So here's my breakdown:
Prereqs (required): If I can pull at least a B in retaking AP1, I'll have a 3.3: 3 pts
Support courses: I have 10-14: 4 pts
my HESI: 13 pts.
Patho and Pharm completed: 6 pts
BSN support courses: 9 pts.
(tentative) grand total: 35 pts.
So give or take I'm looking between 32-38 points. I would go back and check and make sure your points are accurate. Are you missing some classes?
Hey everyone! does anyone know if we ares suppose to include our Q and A ticket in our application packet or is it used for something else? also if I recently got a physical a month or two ago can I use that one or do I need to get a new one? I tried asking the school but got no response. so how many points is everyone applying with?

You do include the Q & A in the packet. You can get a hold of J. Elizardo to find out if you need to redo a physical or if you can use the information from your physical examination on the form that ECC provides. In some cases its a must that the information be on the school form and nothing else will suffice so definitely email him and see what works for the school.
@shauntil07 Thank you! and I talked to the school and they said my physical is fine. I will also be applying in late June so I can do more classes for more point my summer schedule is going to be crazy busy but I need all the points I can get. So what is everyone's first choice El Centro or North Lake?

My first choice is North Lake but ECC is 2nd backup. And that's good that they let you use your physical from before. I have to redo mine.
Just now, Jbar041 said:Did they say you had to redo it? I got mine 3 months ago and they said that would work.
My doctor wants me to redo my physical with him because he feels things could've changed from when I got my physical done in August of last year. The insurance pays for a free one every year but if I get it now I have to pay a copay so that means I have to go somewhere else and do it again.

What is this Q&A you all are referring to? I have reviewed my packet and I do not see any reference to it. I am not going to apply till the very end. I’m taking 3 classes in May and June so I can 34 points.

I’m with you. I watched the PowerPoint. They didn’t email me a ticket per se but my application has the date asking what date I watched it, and I had to answer questions to get my application emailed to me. I guess I was looking for an actual ticket.
