got a rejection for either MICU or SICU. I can't remember which unit but I know it was one of those.

Yeah, someone on FB said that was coming. I applied, then about an hour or so later got an email asking if I wanted to do the screening then a little bit after that got the call for a screening! I was like, "Well, alrighty then!" LOL

The lady I spoke to seemed very dry. Downplayed the timing it would take for me to take NCLEX and then questioned when I would get my BSN (it would have been around June/early July-but I would have it). I guess she felt like I was taking on too much-however, that's not your decision to make. Honestly, I felt judged on the phone. I personally don't think she should be conducting the interviews. Then, proceeded to tell me I could apply in October when the next application is open. I put the phone on mute and laughed. It's JPS's loss-not mine.

Dag nabbit! I've already started attending another school in Oklahoma. I really wanted to go to OU and NOW they change and remove the exams...smh.

my overall GPA was too low.

I did apply but OU said that my GPA was too low for the school. I probably would have gotten accepted into the nursing side though so yeah, I guess that leaves me out for Fall 2025. I still applied to Murray State College.

Hi @Studi Nurse! Thanks for making this thread! I am currently applying to the LPN-BSN program there at OU. I have to take these 5 RN HESI exams. Do you have some tips or advice on how to take them and pass? I am worried I won't be able to pass it! I really want to do their program. Thanks again!
