El Centro Fall 2015

Hello All!! I know it is VERY early to be thinking about this but the process to get in takes quite a long time. I wanted to make a thread to help us all get through the application process together, share problems, feelings, etc. :)

Aww! Did I say one month from today? oh, how I wish! :-). I guess is basically two months..... :-)

We'll be receiving an envelope in the mailbox, stating acceptance or denial. The letters start going out by April 30th. So we basically have one month from today to know if we got accepted or not. :-)

That is ridiculously long!! Haha

I just got accepted into TWU's nursing program! So I will be turning down El Centro if accepted. AHHH! Good luck everyone!!

How exciting! Congratulations!! My brother started the TWU program last fall and says it's tough, but such a great experience so far. Good luck! :):) What was your gpa when you applied if you don't mind me asking? I was going to apply to twu as well, but the advisor basically said I would not be accepted bc of my GPA which is a 3.5.

Dont you have to have your associates to apply to the nursing programs at TWU or UTA?

My stats are GPA 3.6 and TEAS V 91.2 overall! The average this semester for Dallas was 360 applicants, GPA 3.7 and TEAS V 86

Bring up your GPA and aim for an 90+ on your TEAS. The first time I applied my stats were low and I was advised I wouldn't be able to get in unless I made an A on my TEAS V
