Hello All!! I know it is VERY early to be thinking about this but the process to get in takes quite a long time. I wanted to make a thread to help us all get through the application process together, share problems, feelings, etc. :)
Hi everyone! I was a nursing student admitted to the program in January but due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to continue on. I still have all of the books in perfect condition if anyone is interested. Now, you will need codes for a few classes, so you would have to purchase those separately (I can provide you info on which ones are required, they total $408), but I would sell all of the books for ~$1000 (could be negotiated), whereas the entire bundle from the bookstore is $2100. So, this price + codes separately would add up to about ~$1400, savings of about $700 (and let's not forget those pesky taxes). Again, they are all in perfect condition and not written in. I'm not sure when you guys receive your acceptance letters, but I was accepted with 26 points. So if you're in the 30s area, I'd go ahead and say you guys are solid. I'm going to be looking around for places to sell them still, but I'd thought I'd give you guys the opportunity at first grabs here. If interested please text me at 4692332674. Not a scam, just a poor college kid trying to get some money back from nursing school. Good luck guys!

Wow! I think that a good prize! Now did you say you were accepted into the program with 26 piint? Did you receive an acceptance letter, or were you offered an admission by word of mouth? So I have to ask, because I'm applying with 26 points. This is really interesting to hear!
Hey guys I'm curious where yall are at in regard to math course credits? I have not taken college algebra yet And I know it's not a prereq anymore but it says you must still be TSI compliant to APPLY to the nursing program and I don't think I am because I haven't taken college algebra I've been taking development courses and it took my accuplacer back in like 2007 so I'm wondering if maybe I should retake my placement testing to see if I get a better placement now???

"This may involve assessment testing and developmental math courses."
I found this in the information packet. I think you should be ok, but it's always best to seek an academic advisor for help if you're ever unsure about the requirements.
Does anyone know how we will be notified if we have been accepted into the program? Acceptance letters for TWU are already being sent out.
We'll be receiving an envelope in the mailbox, stating acceptance or denial. The letters start going out by April 30th. So we basically have one month from today to know if we got accepted or not. :-)
