El Centro Fall 2015

Published

Hello All!! I know it is VERY early to be thinking about this but the process to get in takes quite a long time. I wanted to make a thread to help us all get through the application process together, share problems, feelings, etc. :)

I have 32 points.

you won't know your exact schedule until orientation week.

Not to sound annoying haha, but what was your schedule like? I just want a general idea of what to expect. I've been offered a job, but they're iffy about how it will work if I get into the nursing program. I don't want to pass up an opportunity like this because I really need the mula to pay for nursing school. But at the same time I don't want to say yes to them and then end up quitting down the road because of schedule conflicts.

I got the "Applicant Compliant" email yesterday. Glad that was done, applying with 31. Which school (Northlake, El Centro, or both) did you guys & gals choose? I had selected El Centro only for this application.

When submitting all my immunization records, I didn't realize I didn't have the hepatitis A vaccine. I just got the first dose and they recommend getting the second dose 6 months after. Will they deny me for not having the second dose? Because technically I will get the second dose before nursing school even starts. I submitted my records on January 31st and haven't heard anything back yet.

That would be great I haven't had much luck finding out in the forums

Last time the cut off was 27

27 sounds pretty good but I sure have been seeing a lot in the 30's since I posted that question lol

I was told as long as you have one dose of Hep A and two of the three HEP B then you can apply.

I only have Hep A1 also. Let me know if you hear differentb

I am applicant compliant after I resubmitted my forms on the 30th, since they didn't received them the first time. I am applying with 28 points.

What campus did y'all choose as your first or only choice? I chose North Lake.

Hey everyone! I was in this program at North Lake fall 2014. I failed lecture class by one point so I have to reapply and do all this over again. it's really upsetting for me to have failed but everything happens for a reason. so I'm hoping to get accepted again and do a whole lot better :)

i sent in my stuff to sentry last Tuesday and I just got an email an hour ago saying that I was compliant. I'm applying with 31 points.

I am sure you'll kick butt next time around!

my schedule was different every week. I had clinicals on some Thursdays. I had lecture every Wednesday. and skills was different every week

Well, that seems hectic! How were the instructors? Thanks for the feedback, btw.
