El Centro College Spring 2019

Published

Hi guys,

i wanted to make a forum for all of the 2019 applicants. I wanted to know what everybody was going to apply with and if they knew anything about the school still being in academic probation? Also does anybody know if the school accepts the Hep A and Hep B shows that are 1 month apart?

Search "board meetings" on Tbon website. Choose first result. The meeting dates are listed. I heard this from a friend not the school though.

I just saw it on there under the news tab. The meetings are Oct 25-26th.

Yes because of the status of the program they have to wait for the meetings otherwise notifications are usually sent by the 15th according to the application packet.

Yes that's true what you all are saying about the date. Also some of the fall18 Lvn to Rn applicants received an email about if they are choose they will have an option to do an October flex bridge that will start on the 29th of oct and end the 7th of Jan and then they would go in one of the nursing terms..... They don't have to choose it it's up to them.

Anyway any LVN-RN in this thread if I'm selected I will be giving up my spot. So that's hope for someone!!

Did anyone receive a notice from Castle branch to do their Flu shot by Oct 15th?

I received that notice I'm hoping it's a good sign

It also says that I'm missing health insurance now

I did but I also got a TB and insurance notification last week and another person on this thread who submitted records to castle branch but never sent her application to El cenrto got the same notification. I got excited too but don't think it's a connection.

I emailed Dean Becker to see if the non compliant satus affect acceptance and she said if you were compliant at the time ur application was submitted your good.

Does anyone have any new information on the current number of applicants for the lvn to rn program

I got the insurance last week and updated that. I hope all this is a good sign because I was in compliant when I turned in my application. Last time I checked for the LVN to RN program it was 65 applicants but that included ones who applied for the fall program and they have an option to start at the end of the month if accepted. 40 will be accepted for the spring class.

Will the people that applied in July get a chance to start this month also if there's space available?
