Hello all! I recently graduated with my ADN and am taking NCLEX in a few weeks. I am hoping to get some advice on how to best begin my career in nursing. I haven't really enjoyed any of my clinical in the hospital setting ( especially Medsurg) and don't think it's for me. I was thinking possibly dialysis or infusion. However, I am hearing that it's best to get some experience in Medsurg by way of a residency because it would be very hard to transition into the hospital setting if I found I didn't like dialysis or infusions. Does anyone have advice for me either way? I am scared of making the wrong decision and either hating my job or worse making myself undesirable to employers. I appreciate any and all advice ?

Just read through all the negative comments about the RN program. I'm really hoping that with the loss of their approval they got their $#!@ together and we will be going in to a fresh, motivated group of instructors. Best of luck to all!!

I emailed Dean Becker to see if the non compliant satus affect acceptance and she said if you were compliant at the time ur application was submitted your good.

I did but I also got a TB and insurance notification last week and another person on this thread who submitted records to castle branch but never sent her application to El cenrto got the same notification. I got excited too but don't think it's a connection.

I thought it was Oct. 15th.

So did I. They probably got a lot of them.

Hi all! Anyone else get an email from castle branch asking for proof of health insurance? Im hoping its a good sign but may be wishful thinking.
