El Centro ADN 2012

Who here has applied or will apply to El Centro's ADN program for spring 2012 and if so, what are your points? I am about to turn in my application and I have 17 points.

I applied for fall 2012 and I'm getting very nervous. I had 16 pts with hesi 445. Please let me know as soon as anyone gets their letters.

Greetings Hopefuls, I applied this session as well. Seems like everyone is anxious for their letter-good or bad. I wish el Centro was more proactive in updating their selection process. An email to let us know they received our apps would help with this stress of the unknown for example...I hope nothing falls out of the packet...and it becomes an incomplete packet. How do you guys/girls calculate your Cumulative Score? Are you simply adding each of the 5 sections? Good luck to all!!!

Yes. Add all five required sections of the hesi and that is the tie breaker. What are ur points?

Thanks for the reply sugeryadn. I did the math and use the scores from the example in the information packet but it didn't add up:confused:. So if my math is correct (I hope so), I should have 18 points with a Hesi cumulative score of 483.48. I signed up for a CNA class back in June and was told I would have my certificate in hand by the end of July but that didn't work out. We just took the state exam last Tuesday. Way pass the August 31st application dead line. Oh well...at least clinical was an eye opener and fun. Thanks again for the clarification! Now back to biting nails (Onychophagia)...haha

I'm 15 points too..... Nerve wracking!

I'm in SCIT 1408 and Micro this semester so I am keeping in mind that I am missing those points...blah. Good luck everyone!

So, letters are to go out on the 15th, this saturday. So does anybody think that they will b mailed on friday since they dont work on saturdays?? Or am I just wishful thinking????? Im just tired of waiting . Good luck to everyone....

I spoke with admissions about letters...the will mail them on Monday 10/17.

Nothing like waiting a few more days. Thanks for the info surgeryadn. Thats knida what I thought anyways. Just trying to think positive. :crying2:
