I am having a hard time deciding which psych NP Program to choose. I am also considering st Francis, but have heard some negative reviews about their program. Can anyone help me?
EKU - only KY and TN students
NKU - has more states.
Which state are you in?
Extremely unorganized, constantly changing rubrics, unclear schedules that also change. Points allocated do not match rubrics. Leaving student without a clue of their expectations. Professors are passive aggressive, make fun of patients inappropriately, are not up to speed on technology and have no idea how to use canvas. Many of them are not there to teach you but to relish on their platform or power via insecurity. Most of which actually do not teach pertinent informatics but tell unrelated stories or discuss things they think you might need in practice during lecture, while neglecting information they will actually adjudicate you on. Difficult to make appointments or speak with advisors. It’s a cheap program, which is nice- but you get what you pay for. In this case, it’s dollar store quality instruction.

Wow it sounds very disorganized and stressful. Happy to hear it is cheap. How many students are in a class? Is it a new program? I am trying to figure out why it is so disroganized.
