EKU PMHNP summer '17 start

Hi all!

I will also be starting EKU's PMHNP program this summer! Who here is currently working in psych as an RN? I don't have any bedside psych experience behind me and I'm hoping I'm not the only one!

Here's my current status as of today " Congratulations, you have been granted clear admission to the Graduate School at Eastern Kentucky University! Please check your DegreeWorks audit for further information about your graduate program."

However, I have not received an email or mail from the school on how to proceed. Can you guys tell me what to expect next? Thank you

You should have received an email with instructions on how to activate your email and complete the admission requirements. Last week another email was sent with information on how to register for the summer course. I didn't receive the latter email either and had to contact my advisor but she has been very helpful and quick to respond. I would contact the admissions office and obtain the name of your advisor.

Thank you. My e-mail is activated right after I sybmitted my application. I think i need to register fro class now. How many classes are you taking this summer? When exactly does class begin? Thank you!

I'm only taking one. Patho. i believe the online PMHNP is part time and you only take one class at a time; each semester being 8 weeks in length. Classes begin May 21 or 22 and I believe blackboard opens the weekend before

hey guys! Congratulations on your acceptance! Although accepted into EKU, I have decided to go with South Alabama, mainly because the program is a little shorter (and cheaper)! Best of luck to all of you! :)
