I will have all my pre-req's done this semester. I am trying to get into the Resp. Care program, however it is 2 years or longer wait. I was thinking about taking the TEAS for the nursing program and as long as I score near perfect, you are in. So I am leaning more towards this route since I am 30 and my hubby has been out of work for quite sometime.
I CANNOT find a job in the healthcare field. I worked in doctors offices' in the past and worked as the assistant to the DON at a long term health facility. I have experience in the admin part of it, but no one is calling me back. I just want in a hospital! I can't work these silly part time side jobs anywhere, they are killing me.
My family is broke! However I have calculated I will have a few hundred dollars to play with to help me get a better job, one is the healthcare field. I do not want to do CNA or LPN, something cheaper maybe EKG or phlebotomy? What is your advice? I assume any of these would help me right??
Thanks for your help! I will do housekeeping at the hospital if I have to, just to get in!
