Efficiency of the VA system

These are the current VA medical claims awaiting processing at the Winston Salem regional office. Note this office only handles the state of NC, and these are only files that are awaiting either initial review or an appeal, not ones that have been processed and are in storage.

It is so bad that the floor in the building is sagging and at risk of collapse.

    Sadly, of all the probable venues in Nursing, I feel most drawn to a VA Hospital. Surely I'm a glutton for punishment. Nothing like taking all the bureaucracy of a hospital and entertangling it with the bureaucracy of the Federal Government, with an even worse funding schedule than a small town public school.
