Eek! NC3!!

Hey everyone! Sorry, I know I disappeared again for a while. I ended up taking on a long term substitute assignment at my work which tied up every living moment of my life! Including my moments I used to study for my NC 3 which was originally scheduled for April!

Anyways, because of me taking that assignment, I get the summer off (hopefully)! Which means, these NC tests are getting done! I'm scheduled to take NC 3 June 24th. Any tips as to what areas to focus on? I had good study momentum going before the ordeal happened at work...I just sat down for the first time, and I'm like, wow, this stuff is really boring! Is there a lot of cultural stuff, or no?

I want to review a little more before I take my practice tests.

Any advice, greatly appreciated!!

Erin

Aw, it's not too bad. If you take the EC practice tests and study those, that will help you very much in your preparation for this test in particular. Concentrate your studies on the OB and reproductive (male and female) stuff for the most part, since it comprises such a large portion of this puppy. I don't remember the cultural stuff being a killer. There were quite a few community health questions, but those were pretty much common sense, if my memory serves me correctly. This was my favorite NC, but that's because I love reproductive health and OB. Other people think this was the hardest test. Regardless, if you never take a practice test, take it for this one this time.

I just took the NC3 on this pass Saturday, I got an "A". I was so scared, but take the practice test some questions were word for word on the test! Also read through the discussion board, someone posted some key points from there test and they were right on! It was posted on May 30, 2008. Good luck hope it helps. I am now on to NC4. Let me know how you do.:loveya:

Any Tips on NC3 Im getting ready to take it at the end of the month.... Yikes! I tried to find the may 30 post you talked about but was unable.. So any helpwould be greatly appreciated...

Thanks , Lisa

The post I am refering to is on the EC discussion board under NC3.

Take the practice test.

I hated 3. Not the stuff that interested me.

Seriously--for NC3, pay the $60 for the practice exam. If for no other exam ever, do it for this one. I couldn't believe how much the real exam mimicked the practice exams, more so than the other tests did.
