My sister was transported from Calgary to Edmonton hospital last night for emergent OB care. I'd love to send her a message from way down in Maine that I love her and wish I could be there pestering her back to health. If you see Nicole Dobbin tell her Tina said hi, and I am keeping track of her from afar.

And if you know the hospital website could you post it- I googled and got a lot of clinics, but what I thought was the hospital site wouldn't load.

Let us know what hospital they transferred her to. I will try to find a link or at least get you the phone number.:)

I wish her well, Canoehead! Hope things go ok and she recovers there!

If she was air ambulanced and is high risk she's most likely at the Royal Alex. They are the high risk unit and if the baby needs NICU that would have been first choice. The units don't do emails on patients. Our Freedom of Information Act protects that kind of thing. Can't even admit the patient is on the unit.

If that sounds right the right place, the postpartum care manager is Cheryl Parkes.

However, depending on the bed situation she could have wound up at the Misercordia, Grey Nuns, or even out at Sturgeon in St. Albert.

She's in good hands. I used to work post partum, and they can even keep her as a boarder Mum if need be.

Hope all went well.

Thanks- just knowing that a fellow nurse approves of the care they give means a lot. I will be updated nightly so hopefully all is still OK.
