Hi Everyone...

I'm Drea, I got into the Lee day program for Fall 2014 and I was wondering when are we going to be able to register? Sorry if people asked this already they're sooo many post I just skipped to the end of the thread.

Not yet. I got an email earlier this week that this year registrar would like us to fill out a student change of status form before they change our major. You have to fill it out and send it back to your staff assistant. You might not have gotten it yet since Lee is running behind.

I was given the Littman Cardiology III as a gift that I'm waiting for as far as a stethoscope goes. And I am

just planning to buy disposable pen lights from Amazon to start with. Other than that I haven't gotten anything. You?

I was able to register for my classes at Collier.

Not really I just bought a watch. I was waiting until we go to Orientation and and get a formal list of things to buy but Charlotte's orientation is after the tax free holiday weekend so now I'm not sure. I've seen a lot of great reviews for the Littman Cardiology III. You're a lucky girl to get that as a gift! I'm jealous :cry:

Does anyone know if there is a certain type of stethoscope we need, maybe a certain brand?

Lee evening received emails with orientation date, and will be receiving an email later this week with the other info needed.

Also I've talked to several people and they had more points than I, and did not get in. The program must've had a different set of requirements this time of what was important and what was not...

Ill have to admit I am intimidated by this whole process, and am humbly grateful I got in.

It will be great to see my fellow evening program nurses soon. :)

Same here! There has to be a method to their madness. Maybe all the people who had all the courses completed or a really high Hesi score? I know personally I applied for Lee nights as my first choice, Charlotte 2nd, and my score was in the mid-high eighties and people here got in Lee with a lower score. I'm just glad I got in somewhere as well. Things work out for whatever reason. I think we're all anxious and ready to get started! We have been working for this for so long. Can't wait for the first day :)
