Edison State College 2014

Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

I had a missed call that might have been them but no voicemail. I got an email stating I was a finalist. I'm so glad you got in, can't wait to meet you.

I can't sleep I'm so excited! So basically everyone who got into Charlotte, Collier, and Lee nights have been notified already. I guess we're just waiting on Lee days and the transition program applicants.

Those of you who got the email what does it say? I've been stalking my portal and still nothing. I guess each campus is different. Someone said classes begin in July? What if we already signed up for summer classes :nailbiting:

The message says : Congratulations, you are a finalist..... And then it names the campus. I don't think classes start in July, I believe they start Mid August when all the fall classes start.

Thank you crisy22! I was thinking that they start in late August as well but I saw someone here say something about July so I got nervous because I'm taking microbiology this summer.

Good luck with Microbiology, that was my favorite class. I am taking four classes this summer, all pre-requisites for the B.S.N. program so I can go straight into the program once I am done with the A.S.

Did you apply to Lee day program? What was your second choice?

thanks I'm liking micro so far. I applied for Lee nights as my first choice and charlotte second. It's weird bc I applied with 86 points and people on here got into the night program with that many points. I applied with only 8 classes so I think that might have played a factor. Or maybe I miscalculated my points? Or had just missed the cutoff of how many people got in. I was probably 36 instead of 35 with my luck haha. Idk I still got in somewhere and I'm forever grateful lol

Congratulations to everyone that has gotten into the nursing programs. I am hoping I can get into the program with 89 total points. I commented on another thread about how nervous I am that I won't get in. But hey I might get in I will see.

An 89 is pretty good you should be okay. I know the wait in is the worst part since other people have an answer already. Let us know on Tuesday how it goes :)

Those of you who got accepted to Charlotte have you gotten the email yet? I don't think my acceptance is real until I receive it lol
