Hi Everyone. Congrats on everyone's acceptance into the Nursing program. I was accepted to the Collier campus to start this summer. Can't wait to meet everyone. Anyone get their packets yet?

I am "patiently" waiting to get my packet. As of Friday the Lee campus was still choosing people for the program. They're accepting 48! I can't wait to get the packet, and to start!! )

I called the Lee campus on Monday to see if I could pick up whatever it was that we are geting and I was told that there is a new Day Coordinator this year and that the letters are waiting for a date from her for "boot camp" and that they should get sent out this week. I was also told that the letter is basically an acceptance letter that we sign and send back for the program and that they hold the spot in the classes so that it's not a problem if we get closer to the start of the semester and haven't gotten anything.

"boot camp" ?? ... I went in and signed my acceptence letter. Hopefully the packet has other info. If we're supposed to start classes in a few weeks (May 11th(ish)) I think we need to know what's going on!! Right? I work full-time and need to know what my new schedule is going to look like. I'm just a "need to know" kind of girl. It drives me nuts not knowing the details of things.

I got my letter today and the classes don't start until the 24th but the "boot camp" is the 17th. Everything we will do will be on Tuesdays. The letter gives you everything that you have to do in order to register for classes.

You're welcome! My name is Deborah and I totally understand what you mean when you said you need to get your schedule b/c you have a full-time job. I'm right there with you on that one and with 2 young kids it's more of a schedule and time conflict but it's necessary. Well, I'll be meeting you soon.

Can anyone tell me how Edison figures their score. I have a 3.4 GPA and finished 7 courses. I will be enrolled for the remaining two. Not sure if that counts.

Have not taken HESI, and would like to know what I need. Thanks for the help!!!!!!!
