Has anyone ever started one and had success with staff driven (not management) improvements in efficiency and staff satisfaction? Thinking of starting one in my ER.

Do you have a unit practice council? Sounds like a similar entity.
We do, but they are very education focused vs process focused.

I helped start our unit practice council. Processes, since they relate to nursing practice, are very much within the scope of a unit based council. Is there a specific process you'd like to start with? I suggest attending the next unit based council meeting and getting it on the agenda.
I am already part of the hospital wide practice council. Just started doing that 3 months ago so I am not sure if I have enough time to commit to becoming a full fledged member but I will definitely look into it.
