ECTC Nursing Program vs. Galen College of Nursing

Hey guys,

I am a pre-nursing student right now at ECTC, and am trying to get all of my pe-reqs out of the way. I was wondering if anyone knew if Galen was worth it? ECTC does not have a waitlist, but it is very competitive. Granted, I have all A's in my pre-reqs right now, but I am not sure if I really want to wait another 6 months + to get into the program if I don't get in the first time (which I probably won't). Should I make the commute to Galen in Louisville for the sake of time? I'm not a fan of waiting. I know that nursing school isn't anything that you can get in and out of quickly. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to prolong the process anymore than it needs to be.

Thoughts? Thank you!

not so much anymore. i've heard that ectc recently dipped into the third tier for their spring nursing section. gives me a little bit more hope to get in there. i also compared the costs of attending either or and ectc is just the smarter option
