Hello my fellow LPNs
I would like to know is there anyone in the LPN program at ecpi, and if you are what do you think so far of the program I just took the TEAS test today and I passed. So I will be starting the LPN program on 06/15/2015 I am so happy, but now that I am sitting here thinking about it I am nervous as hell, because I don't know what to expect. I am already a RMA and I just want to get started and get done, so that I can go on and get my RN license because that's what I really want to become....anyone please let me know something I have been hearing some really good things about this school.
Flash cards! We only had three days of pharm 1 (should've been 5 total, but with a holiday and our final taking the whole day, we definitely got screwed.)
You definitely want to pay close attention to medication administration though, because the following term you will take your first Kaplan (pharm 1) and that is FULL of med admin!
Definitely try to read ahead of class, so that you can write down anything that confuses you and have it clarified during class, and be ready for TONS of memorization!
Hey ladies, I try to pop in when I can. We are on our weekend break. I will be starting term 8 mother baby on Monday. It's going to be a lot of work my teacher is going on vacation the last weeks and we are learning all the material in three weeksí ½í¸”. This campus has a lot of bs and drama going on. Our DON is leaving and the some of the teacher show favoritism to other students. But I'm staying focus and getting the job done. Haven't failed a class or Kaplan yet. It's almost over. March isn't coming fast enough. I am so glad everyone is coming along in there program. Talk to y'all soon.
Cnastriving congrats! That's fantastic!
Candyred- it's almost March! You're almost there! I definitely understand the drama and bs. My campus is extremely disorganized and being the newest cohort everything we did was criticized and complained about. But the end of this coming term will mark our half way point- so hopefully no one will fail any more kaplans and we can stick together through the last half of this program!

Thought so- quick tip for the funds Kaplan, start reviewing 101, 102 and 104 now. You should have a week of 'review' for the first week of 105- but it's always good to spend some time going over it, as it is a TON of material. I did that and didn't find the Kaplan to be difficult at all. A lot of prioritizing questions, but nothing too hard. The rest of my classmates didn't bother studying until the night before, and we all know cramming doesn't always equal passing.
Good luck for next term and clinical! It'll be exciting!
