Hello everyone. I have a question I would like to ask, but please refrain from making assumptions about myself or anything in that nature. It is simply a question.
Is there anyone out there who is a nursing student at Erie Community College? If so, once you were in the program, were you required have a criminal background check and/or drug screening. I know they do a physical evaluation. A school I was at before did perform urine analysis for drug screening for nursing students/candidates. You had to submit any/all medications you take which was information some are uncomfortable disclosing. They also did background checks and any arrests from DWIS to shoplifting charges would deny you entrance.
Thank you for your responses in advance. I would sincerely appreciate it.

No one ever has answers to my questions. Haha.

I am currently a ECC level 2 nursing student. There is no drug/medication screening. The only 2 pieces of required medical information are a yearly physical and ppd for TB.
