EC exams! yikes!

I passed NCLEX-RN over 2 years ago, and I am studying now for my EC exams in the same topics as the nclex.

One of the girls in my class says that she studied 50q per day and passed her exams....

the topics of my EC exams are maternal/peds, psych, med/sug...... and frankly I think that 50q is too little.

back when I was studying for the exams, I did at least 300Q & reviewed content video, audio & read my books... now I do not have my books anymore, except for my reviews and rationales & helen feuer home study & old saunders CD.

and frankly, I'm quite nervous about it, I've been putting these exams so much, but everyone I know is passing them left and right, but they say they study so little for them!

I'm starting to feel nervous.

if you have taken these tests, please tell me, what and how much study have you done?

I don't understand your question. Is this in regards to RN-BSN program?

Excelsior provides the content outline and tells you which books to read. I suggest you do the reading and approach it that way -- that tends to ensure success with EC exams, in my experience. When is your deadline to take these exams? It seems like it was a long time ago that you first mentioned them.

I've been changing and changing my dates, that now I only have a month left to take one exam, and am trully nervous. Maybe after I approach this first exam I won't.

The book that they mention in the guide, was actually my lecture book in the ASN nursing program, and I can't read all that and remember it well.

I'm studying my nclex stuff I have.

I'm just not a good test taker!!

Laughing at myself reading these posts.

After taking that exam on tuesday, I feel such a releif from those tests... and frankly I was just getting nervous over a test that is not that bad. (I am a health care provider already!.......... so I know some of this material!)

I will probably schedule my next test tommorrow :) I can't wait to conquer the next exam.

I am the same way I passed repdrouctive test on Monday and am scheduling not 1 but 2 more test. I really like the NCLEX style test questions.

wow, I am taking my medsurgical nursing exam for EC tomorrow and I am extremely nervous.

I keep telling myself that I will not fail, but med/surg is a lot of info to know!!
