  1. We are upgrading to the newest version of Cerner a team of nurses have been working with Cerner making changes to what we need. I am a superuser for the go live team and really think it is a better program compared to the older version

    I had my LPN did floor nursing and ED and then went and got my paramedic did ground, and flight returned to the ED as an LPN while going back to school to get RN. A couple of things that I tell paramedics that are getting their RN. 1) at times you will be frustrated when you have to ask to start some medications that as a paramedic you could just hang, same with intubations. 2) the hardest time that medics turned nurse have is caring for multiple patients at a time. Just remeber there is a learning curve and enjoy it

  5. in 32years of nursing i have only had this happen about 4 times, so i do not feelthat it is a big deal, i have tried to be accommodating to the patient when ithas been an issue.
  6. I would always do the interview, even if I am going to say no to the job, because interviews can be stressful and the more you do the more comfitable you are

  10. Bumblebeern, I am the same way I passed repdrouctive test on Monday and am scheduling not 1 but 2 more test. I really like the NCLEX style test questions. BJ

  12. Hello, I am a 52 y/o Military trained LPN, who has worked from 1979-1998 as a LPN and from 1990-present as a Paramedic the past 10 years as a flight paramedic. I have done an advanced placement program, and will be starting this fall as a senior nursing student.
