EB3 Green Card

Published

Hello All,

I am seeking a way to apply EB3 green card as a registered nurse. I would like to know if anyone has any information about it. The hospital that hired me told me they only fill out the paperwork, but nothing else. They don't know the detail about how others did it. However, my manager was very happy that I want to stay. I am currently in the US and will start my OPT next month. I'm an international student from Taiwan. I have Indiana nursing license and BSN degree.

I also talked with a staffing company. They told me that I will have to sign a two years contract with them. They told me that I will have to do Form I-140, Form I-485, Visa Screen, and pay an attorney fee.

I read something online that my employer have to fill out ETA 9089. It seems impossible to apply the green card without the help of staffing company.

I am considering hiring an attorney to help me to stay at my hospital. I would like to know if anyone has any suggestion on my situation.

I would also like to know what hospitals sponsor EB3 green card for nurses. (I heard "Prairie St. John's,ND 58103" sponsor green card).

Thank you. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Basically unless you meet exceptional experience I-140 is employer based and can only be submitted by employer. If you look at section 6 employer information is required

Ok, but why an international agency is asking me if i have already applied For the I-140?

They may be asking in case you filed previously and have a PD. otherwise I would be talking to them about it

I just had another look at the I-140 form and yes only if you have a master degree or "super powers" you can self apply...

What staffing company did you contact? Staffing agency usually pays for your expenses

I am graduating this December with my BSN. I am trying to figure out whether I should reach out to the staffing agency or directly work with the hospitals. Would you post your email? I would like to keep in touch and share information with you, if you don't mind.

Hi, how did searching for a job work out for you, if you don't mind me asking

I'm graduating next may and I'm not sure if I should use agency.

Have you figure everything out yet? Now I assuem you have already finished you OPT. There are some immigration lawyers are woking for staffing companies.
