Hi I currently am trying to choose a good nursing school and I heard about Eastern International College in Belleville, NJ. People have been saying dont go there that they are very disorganized and that the head of the nursing department currently (chairperson) is a bully who has been fired before from another nursing college for not following standards. Are any of these rumors true? I would hate to waste my time, effort and money. Can anyone let me know there experiences with the staff and school for the nursing department. That would be very helpful.

I just took a look at their website & it looks as though their nursing program is NOT accredited - only approved by the state. This means that their graduates are eligible to take NCLEX, but credits will not be not transferable. There are a lot of threads here on AN about all of the issues associated with non-accredited schools.

oh man thanks for letting me know. As far as the staff and organization goes I was wondering whether that was true as well?
