I'm making this post for anyone who is applying to the Melbourne(formerly Palm Bay) spring 2017 nursing program. Just listing for general talk about scores, advice, and what have you. I'm taking my TEAS the 10th, and have a point total of 34. Looking forward to your comments.

Has anyone logged into my.efsc and checked under their student information tab? Then select the term. I have an additional tab for Spring 2017 now and has changed to a minor in nursing...! I am trying to not get my hopes up!!

I have the tab but nothing says nursing. I was told they were meeting yesterday. I dont know if they would put it in the system so quick.

Yes, it could just be IT related. I was told the mail will go out in alphabetical order. :)

If you log onto my.efsc with your B number and pin as password. Click on Titan Web at the top left then Student Services to Student Records to View Student Information. From there select a term and it will have basic information.

Mine still says Chem Tech. That's not the most thrilling of news. I mean my last name starts with V, but yeah...

You will have to get an immunization record with all updated shots, TB test, drug test, finger prints, background check, CPR, you will have orientation. You will have to pay for fingerprints and background check, and a lab kit that you will get on the first day of lab. And obviously buy your stethoscope, BP cuff and any other school supplies you will need. There will be a registration sheet that you will have to sign and then it will updated with a major in nursing. There is a whole packet of papers you will need to sign and either mail back or bring in.

Do we need to be CPR certified before entering the program?

Yes.There will be two days to go and get certified after orientation. If you are already certified, then you don't have to go.

Congrats!! Hopefully I'll get it soon. Are they sending the letters alphabetically according to your last name?

A coworker of mine was able to have her bf check her mail and she got in. Her last name starts with a W so it sounds like acceptance letters have gone out.
