Hi all,
I received a letter from east los angeles college today stating that i've met the first part of the selection process and its telling me to go take the TEAS test before the final selection can be made.
Does it mean a seat has been reserved for me and once I completed and passed the test I will be starting the program or passing the test only gets me into the lottery system, even passing the TEAS test wont guarantee that I will be get picked for 100%.
Does anyone know how ELAC's nursing program actually works? please advice. ^__^ Thanks.
@sweetpea88- Im kind of wondering about the passing rate too. I've read somewhere on allnurses that they have been audited before. If they've been audited and still running... Im thinking it's the students? I would love some answers too.
The results are taking quite long. Elac was one of the first schools out of the cc's around here that opened their admissions. Hoping we'll find out soon!

I just took the TEAS today at ELAC. They said they will send me notice later. So I don't know if I will get accepted or not. But anyway, my main concern is that does ELAC have a good nursing program? Cause I've heard that they have low graduate rate compared to other community colleges.
@dche3: yes, ELAC uses lottery system. The person who was in charge of the TEAS exam, she told us that after we pass the exam, our names will go to admission. They will do the lottery. Since there are so many students applied, so they took first lets say 100 students and put them in fall 2011, the rest of them will be put in spring 2012.
