East Los Angeles College (ELAC) Fall 2021 ADN

Hello!  I am not seeing a lot of forums for East Los Angeles College (ELAC).  I would love to talk to some people who are also applying or who have attended the nursing program.  I am curious if I have a chance on getting in for Fall 2021.  If anyone is comfortable sharing their points that would be awesome.  I'll also be sharing my stats once I figure them out.  The application opens April 1st!  ?

Hello guys do you think I have a chance with a 3.81 GPA, 3.66 science GPA, 74.7 TEAS, 3 life experiences, and if they count 100 hrs volunteer. Im scared about their NCLEX pass rates but hear they are actively trying to change that

According to Moosa, this is their first time doing a merit based selection. I'd assume their NCLEX scores will only increase from here ?. Also, I believe you should apply if you want to! You'd never know if you don't try ?. Good luck!

Well I applied just for the heck of it. 43 points but we shall see if that’s good enough.  Nkt having my AA really knocks me points. So hoping I have somehow chance.

I don’t have any recent experience so that messed me up. I have 46 points. Still applying...you never know.

I have 101 volunteer hours but they wanted 200 all or nothing. And yeah you never know. Im taking a chance with ELAC knowing they can flip those concerns around so anything is welcomed. IDK if Rio sends more emails today so hoping they do but if not well ELAC is last chance this app cycle. This is my first time applying anywhere as I haven’t even finished my sophomore year at a CC yet.

ELAC is my last chance as well. I have 53 points. I will try to get a CNA license and get some healthcare experience if I fail to get in.

I have 4 rejections so far. CNA is my backup plan as well! I start on the 20th. It won’t hurt us to have it! I plan to work as many hours as I can before the next application cycle. I applied to 14 programs!

Question y’all. Did you guys attach your hs diploma on thst one file pdf kr no? Cuz I was under the assumption it was not needed. Just checking to see if we had tok or not
