I went looking for a thread for ECU's CRNA program 2026 start and couldn't find one, so I figured I'd create one!

From what I understand, they select interviews based on what the applicant pool looks like in comparison and cut it by maybe 50-70% of qualified candidates for the interview. That's super unfortunate for OP though, I'm sorry!
I am curious if you are able to offer insight on the interview set up since you attended last year? EQ vs IQ focused and length of time etc
Very EQ focused. Once its your turn to interview, youll be infront of about 10-12 people. It tends to last about 15-30 minutes (depending on your answers and follow up questions). I had one pretty simple clinical question. In my experience the majority of the panel appear to be very supportive. I did have two of the interviewers try to psyche me out (mightve been just me but the one guy had some really aggressive body language).

Thanks for the insight I think I prefer EQ to IQ anyways! Hopefully the ones trying to psyche you out last year aren't there again, Im sorry that happened. Best of luck in your future endeavors!
Definitely EQ over IQ. I had a good interview from what I gather, and it came down to stats as to why I did not get offered a spot. I did my best to improve my stats in the last year (pretty much just retook science courses and a graduate level course recommended by the director through ECU). I will say the entire process is not enjoyable if you are one of the last to interview in your group that day. Once the interview starts you have no idea who they are going to call next. You just sit in a classroom with the other interviewees and a couple of SRNAs currently in the program. I was the last person and I left almost around 9pm.

Hey! I interviewed last week but received an email the day before with parking information. Basically just showed me where to park and said to arrive 20mins early and where the person would be with temp parking passes if we needed them.

Thank you! I was curious since it was getting late in the "office hour" day. How do you feel your interview went overall? Not looking for insights into questions, more so just how you felt, the flow of the day etc. Good Luck!

It went OK! So we had about 12 candidates that all met in a room. Program director went thru a PowerPoint about the program, schedule, etc. then showed us around the floor to see the sim lab. After that, you were able to sit and chat with current students and ask them questions while candidates were taken out and interviewed. As mentioned by others previously, if you end up getting chosen to interview later the day could feel very long. Best of luck!! you got this!
Hey!! For those who have already interviewed this round... do you feel like it was more EI questions than clinical? I have heard people say it was mostly EI and one clinical question.. if that's the case, was the clinical question related to your experience or did it seem random? Not asking for specifics out of fairness just curious!
