Published

I went looking for a thread for ECU's CRNA program 2026 start and couldn't find one, so I figured I'd create one!

Received an acceptance email on Monday and got a call yesterday!

Has anyone started a FB group or anything yet for incoming cohort? I couldn't find anything already made

Congrats! I've messaged someone else who had mentioned starting a facebook group! You can individually message me and I'm more than happy to share my contact info.

I also got a rejection letter. Would those who got in be willing to share their stats?

- 13 years RN (7 years STICU)

- Undergrad GPA: 3.12, science GPA: ~3.0

- Retook undergrad Chem (A), took graduate Advanced Patho (A)

- GRE: 315, Analytical writing: 5

- CCRN

- Leadership roles (charge, preceptor, mentor, mentor committee chair, etc.)

- 3 mock interviews (I personally think this is key once you've checked all of the boxes for minimum application requirements)

If there's anyone left on this thread that was accepted but hasn't joined the FB group, message me individually so we can get you in!

hey, has anyone tried to reach out and hasn't got a response yet? confused bc I know some people that have heard back from admissions so wondering if there is a reason some people hear back and some don't

What do you mean? Like you haven't heard anything at all following interviews?

no they said I was denied, but several of my friends who also applied emailed the admissions and heard ways they could improve and I have heard nothing. even their denial letters encouraged them to reapply while mine didn't.

What exactly did your letter say? I was a reapplicant this cycle, but my letter did encourage me to reapply last year. I got in this year. I imagine it's very discouraging for the letter not to encourage you to reapply. How do you feel like your interview went? Maybe they just didn't feel like it would be a good match. I would recommend calling instead, maybe you'll get some better answers.
