E3 visa for Australian nurse

Does anybody have any up to date information regarding E3 work visa? I want to join my partner in Madison WI and work as a nurse. I do not wish to live in the US permanently. Is there anybody out there who is working in the US on an E3 visa and can give me some advise?

I think provided you meet the requirements for the specialty visa, you should be good. I know several people on E3s who had the "specialty" part loosely interpreted. It's fairly rare to see denials on E3, since it's a treaty visa. Just a matter of being careful how the offer letter and job description is worded. Definitely worth a try!
