Dying hair unnatural color?

So I will be starting school soon and I recently dyed my hair blonde. I'm asian and obviously my natural hair color is dark brown. Thing is, I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE the color and I don't really want to change it back. The school specifies that hair should be natural colors. Do you think my blonde hair will fly or should I dye it back? I'm thinking about professionalism and whether or not the faculty will takes me seriously.

Have any of yall dyed your hair an unnatural color and got away with it?

Thanks! :)

I would think by unnatural they mean pink purple etc. blonde is a natural color. I wouldn't think it would be a problem. It would be highly inappropriate for anyone to suggest you shouldn't have blonde hair because you are asian.......

I agree blond is a natural color even if its not yours :) DOn't worry and Im sure it looks beautiful :)

Theyre saying you can't halve blue/green/pink etc hair, you're fine! :)

I agree with what the others have said. I would assume that by natural colors they mean those that are God given, even if God didn't give it to you. "Unnatural colors" would be pink, green, blue, etc.

I dye my hair, but to cover the grey. :)

I feel relieved reading this cause I was dreading having to redye it once school starts. Thanks for the replies! :)

No they just don't want any abnormal hair colors like purple etc. Any natural color of hair like black, brown, blonde etc is fair game and most won't give you grief for highlights as long as they look natural. Occasionally some places get a bit overzealous and say that a red color isn't natural when it can indeed be just that red (it can sometimes be almost bright orange).

At my orientation they said, "hair must be a natural color. It doesn't have to be YOUR natural color, but it must be a natural color."

So since blonde is a natural color, I think you are good to go!
